InDesign PDF export
This little AppleScript can convert one ore more in the Finder selected Adobe InDesign documents to PDF. It is tested under CS 1 and CS 2 and it works fine for me. But I don’t give any warranties. It’s for your use as is. I’m not responsible for any loss of data and/or exploding computers after using this application. Please wear the appropriate protective gear when using this application. And remember, when you’re making money with my script, please donate some…
USAGE:
Download and decompress the InDesign_PDF_export.tgz file. Uncompressing should go fine with StuffIt Expander. Open Adobe InDesign. Select under the ‘File’ menu ‘PDF export presets’. Make a new preset called:
-
PDF Export daantje
This preset will be used by the export app. Start the export.app. Select one or more Adobe InDesigen files in your Finder and hit the run button in the application. Now the PDF’s will be stored on your Desktop. The original files will not be harmed!
