I droped my iPod :( Not a good idea. It fell on the left bottom corner of the iPod. It was broken! But testing it on my laptop it worked! It must be the battery… When I popped the cover, I saw nothing bad. The connector was connected as it should be. But when I removed the mainboard so I could remove the battery, I saw that one (red) of the wires (red, white, black) to the battery was cut in half by the mainboard. The wires go under the board with little room for the wires. I fixed the wire and secured it with some sticky tape ;) My favorite fixing tool ;) Now the wires are shorter, so I’ll have to go over the board. Placed the cover back, hit play and YES, we have that nice sound again! Please keep in mind, when popping the cover, you loose your warranty!

I’ve got it working with this iSync plugin. You should read the readme! It works with 9300, 9300i and the 9500. There are two iSync plugins in the package, one for iSync 2.1 and one for 2.2.
