Blue screen after installing MacOSX?!
Now hear this… I installed MacOS X 10.2 jaguar on my iMac. It was installed after one hour ;) and after playing with it for a few hours, I shut the box down. The next day I fired her up again, and now I got only the blue color on my iMac! After thinking a while, I put on an external monitor, and the colors where okay than… Damn, internal CRT broken?! After taking the whole Mac appart, a friend of mine told me, it couldn’t be solved by installing a new CRT, but I should only download and install a small Firmware Upgrade! DUH!So, There I was… Putted the whole box together again, started from my old 9.1 OS installation, runned the Firmware upgrade, restarted again with MaxOS X… And YES! There are the colors again!!! AIAIAI ;)Thanx to Oscar from StudioLEO.nl, here’s the frimware upgrade I used…
